Edda has been working in publishing since 1986, editing non-fiction books and managing CD-rom and dot.com projects. She started working for Mark Allen Publishing in 2007, first drawing up editorial guidelines, then working on a variety of health-care journals. In 2009, prompted by her interest in renal medicine, she conceptualised the Journal of Renal Nursing (JRN), which she now edits.
